With gang violence continuing to grow
and resources continuing to be cut back, we as citizens must step in
to make a positive change.
Our youth are turning to gangs for many different reasons without knowing
the repercussions of their actions. Positive Gentlemen was formed to
bring awareness to schools, churches and youth centers about the dangers
of joining gangs.
Positive Gentlemen is made of several men from many different backgrounds – former gang members, drug and alcohol counselors, inner-city school teachers, businessmen, and parents who have lost children to gang violence.
Together, our goal is to educate at-risk
children and teens about the power of positive choices and the consequences
of violent behavior.
Positive Gentlemen are ordinary people
doing extraordinary things.
Our goal is to educate youngsters on the pressures of the streets and
give them positive direction.
